Speaking on the sidelines of Darul Qaza conference at Aishbagh Eidgah on Tuesday, Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali said, "With this attack on terror camp, Pakistan has been given a befitting reply to the Pulwama terror strike. It is a commendable move that terror camp has been devastated while caution was taken not to hurt civilians in the process."

While Farangi Mahali said that it was necessary to finish terrorism, he also stressed the the safety of civilians was also very important aspect that has to be taken care of. "There was a demand to fight against terrorism, and that was taken up," he added.

Shia cleric Maulana Saif Abbas also supported the air strike and said, "We fully support the air strike in Pakistan, but also feel that had this step been taken earlier, Pulwama terror strike would have not happened."

"India's attack is an open message that the attack is not on a country but on terrorism since the biggest terror camp was bombed. Pakistan should now end all the terror camps running on its land itself, or India should conduct more such air strikes to end terrorism," he added.
