<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">LUCKNOW: Mahanagar police on Friday arrested three teenaged school dropouts involved in the murder of Ashish Srivastava, branch manager at Ritiraj Engineering company at his Nishatganj rented house on Thursday evening. <br />The motive behind the killing was stated to be the inclination of the victim towards a girl residing in his neighbourhood.
The assailant was stated to be the boyfriend of the girl and had earlier warned Ashish to stay away from her.<br />Those arrested were identified as Veeru Sonkar (18), son of a TTE in the Railways, Tommy Sonkar of the 4th Lane in Nishatganj who works as an operator at a fax and photocopy outlet near his house, Subhash Gupta (18) of the 5th Lane in Nishatganj who gave up studies in class five and Wasim Ahmad alias Appu (18) of the 4th Lane in Nishatganj who works at a tailoring shop.<br />Subhash told mediapersons that his friend Amit Raj Kashchyap of the 7th Lane in Nishatganj was having an affair with a girl residing in the neighbourhood for the last couple of years. Recently, he discovered that Ashish Srivastava was also inclined towards the girl and objected to it. On Wednesday Amit even warned Ashish to stay away from the girl.<br />On Thursday evening, Amit Kashshyap along with his friend Sonu Kashshyap and the three arrested accused reached the house of Ashish. Subhash said that as they entered the house he kicked the chair on which Ashish was sitting. Amit then asked for the country-made pistol which he was carrying and fired a shot. First time the trigger missed. But on second try, the bullet hit Ashish of the chest. <br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">Boy found dead:</span> A school boy was found dead in a pond under mysterious circumstances in Talkatora police circle on Friday. The boy was missing since Friday after he left home for school. The post-mortem report has stated that the cause of death was due to drowning.<br />The body of the deceased, Sudhir, 12, was found stark naked. A student of class 8 at St Angenes School in Rajajipuram Sudhir had left his house on Thursday around noon and untraceable ever since. When his father Rameshwar enquired about his well being, he came to know that he never reached school on Thursday. </div> </div>
