MLA donates 2.5L to CBA for library

Lucknow: Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh has donated Rs2.5 lakh to the Central Bar Association (CBA) in Lucknow for the establishment of a library.During a meeting with the association's officials, led by president Akhilesh Jaiswal, Singh assured the provision of ACs and computers to meet the association's requirements. He also promised to ensure parking facilities near the court premises, recognizing the daily challenges faced by lawyers and visitors alike. Singh also committed to advocating for health benefits for all lawyers in the state by reaching out to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Singh took to X to share the details, emphasizing that his relationship with the legal community is not just formal but heartfelt and familial. Singh's initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen the resources and welfare of the legal fraternity, said a lawyer.
