LUCKNOW: Metro services will be closed till 2pm on March 21 on account of Holi. The first Metro of the day will start from Chaudhary Charan Singh Metro station at 2pm. The services will continue till 10pm.
Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) has prohibited the use of colours inside all stations. People smeared with Holi colours will have to pay a penalty of Rs 500 if they are caught.

Lucknow Metro department. Drummer of the band Abhinav Gupta is the technical engineer at Singarnagar Metro station, while pianist Mukul Sharma is at customer care department in Lekhraj Metro station.
5L travellers in 8 days: More than 5 lakh people have travelled by Metro since its inauguration on March 9. As per Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation, on an average over 67,000 passengers are using Metro for commuting on daily basis. On Saturday more than 66,000 people travelled by Metro. Hazratganj station witnessed the highest footfall with 9,450 tickets being sold on that station.
MD LMRC awarded: Managing director Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) Kumar Keshav was awarded ‘Highest Technocrat award 2019’ by Lucknow Management Association on Saturday.
