Men attack ward boy at RML hospital

Lucknow: A group of men attacked a ward boy at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Vibhuti Khand police station area in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
The victim, Dharmendra Singh said he was on duty when Abhimanyu Singh, Pramod Yadav and their four aides reached the triage centre and tried to enter the emergency wing. “They were drunk and were abusing staff and others present. I asked them to stop using foul language.They attacked me with some sharp-edged weapon and fled,” he said.
ADCP, North Zone, Qasim Abidi said a case has been registered and efforts are on to trace the attackers .
