kanpur: swadeshi jagran manch would organise a mela for indian companies in order to encourage sale of indigenous products. the convenor of swadeshi mela and the state urban development minister satish mahana said the government was unable to ban the entry of foreign products in the country due to certain compulsions. swadeshi jagran manch would take all steps to encourage the indian companies so that they could compete with foriegn companies in the market.

mahana informed that 200 stalls were being set up at brijendra swarup park where various indian companies would exhibit their products. a week-long fair would start on november 3. the chief minister rajnath singh is likely to attend the concluding day function of the fair, he added. the convener of the kanpur unit of swadeshi jagran manch prithvipati sachan said so far four such fairs have been held in various parts of uttar pradesh to boost indian companies. he said the manch was trying to create awareness among the people about indian products and inspire them to boycott foreign goods.
