Maths paper stumps JEE (Main) aspirants
Lucknow: An intricate and time-consuming mathematics section of the JEE (Main) examination presented a substantial challenge to candidates to whom TOI talked to after they appeared for the national level entrance test at various centres in the city. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the examination in various cities across the country including Lucknow."Mathematics section was exceedingly challenging. It comprised extensive questions on probability, matrices, algebra, calculus, vectors, coordinate geometry and 3D," said a JEE (Main) aspirant, Animesh Sinha.Another aspirant, Anirudh Gupta said, "Overall the examination was demanding as both physics and mathematics sections contained complex questions. It was only chemistry where candidates can anticipate scoring well.""In physics, questions on mechanics, current electricity, optics, modern physics, waves and others were particularly challenging.
