Man, sister-in-law kill selves over 'affair'

BIJNOR: A 23-year-old man and his sister-in-law (28) allegedly killed themselves by consuming poisonous substance in Najibabad of Bijnor. The incident took place on Wednesday evening.
According to police, they were in an "affair" for some months. The deceased were identified as David and his cousin's wife Rakhi from Najibabad area. The woman has two children.
Giving the details, Najibabad circle officer Desh Deepak Singh said, "The man and his sister-in-law were found in an unconscious state.After a tip-off, police reached the spot and took them to Samipur community health centre where they died."
The CO added: "Prima facie, it came to light that both were having an affair. The woman eloped with him a month ago. Police have informed their family members and sent their bodies to the district hospital for autopsy. Probe is on."
