Mohammed Irfan of Aliganj said he got information that a fete was being conducted near 1090 Crossing. “The permission for the fete was until January 5 but the organizers were conducting it even on January 9,” he said.

Singh but he gave a vague reply to his queries. I disconnected the phone as he did not reply properly to my queries. A little later I got a call back from Vikrant who used abusive language towards me saying he did not fear the journalists,” Irfan alleged.
He said Vikrant abused him and made comments hurting his religious sentiments. “He abused my mother and is pressuring me to meet him. I have been told by some of my well wishers that Vikrant is a muscle man and I fear he may harm me,” Irfan stated in the FIR.
