LUCKNOW: The special judicial magistrate CBI Ram Murti Yadav here on Tuesday extended judicial remand of five accused in Madhumita Shukla murder case till December 20 next and sent them to jail accordingly.

LUCKNOW: The special judicial magistrate CBI Ram Murti Yadav here on Tuesday extended judicial remand of five accused in Madhumita Shukla murder case including the former minister Amarmani Tripathi, sub-inspector Yagya Narain Dixit, Prakash Chandra Pandey, Santosh Rai and Rohit Chaturvedi till December 20 next and sent them to jail accordingly.
All these accused persons were produced before the special magistrate after the expiry of their judicial remand.

However, the CBI magistrate fixed December 12 next for hearing on the applications moved on behalf of Amarmani Tripathi, Prakash Chandra Pandey and Santosh Rai, alleging there in that they were tortured by the CBI during their police remand.
