LUCKNOW: Unveiling one of the big ticket investment projects, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated Lulu Mall in the city on Sunday evening.
The mall began commercial operations by welcoming visitors on Monday.
Signifying pro-development vision of the government, Lulu Mall has been built with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore and will yield 5,000 direct and nearly 10,000 indirect jobs.
Chairman and managing director of the Lulu Group, Yusuffali MA, said: “We are happy and excited to open our dream project in Lucknow for the people of Uttar Pradesh. Lulu Mall in Lucknow, with its flagship Lulu Hypermarket and the largest entertainment zone - Funtura, will offer a world-class shopping experience to people. Speaker Satish Mahana, deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, industries minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi and chief secretary Durga Shankar Mishra also attended the event.
