Lucknow University set for desi hues, millet dishes on Holi

LUCKNOW: For Lucknow University students it will be 'Holi Hai' with millets during the festival celebration on the second campus. LU's Dr BR Ambedkar Girls' hall will be celebrating Holi on Saturday at the hostel themed around 'Healthy Holi and Happy Holi,' let's celebrate with dishes of millet.
A number of dishes from millets will be prepared by hostellers to celebrate both Holi and the International Year of Millets to ensure nutrition security.
"From ragi thandai to sweet dishes made up of millets we are planning to prepare a number of cuisines from the course grain during Holi celebration at the campus," said a hosteller Shruti Singh.
LU Dean Student Welfare Prof Poonam Tandon said, "Apart from millet dishes, we are also organizing Rangotsav at HJB Law hostel on the second campus and in the Institute of Management Sciences."
