Lucknow: Two held for minor’s rape in Gomtinagar

LUCKNOW: A 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by two men in a dilapidated house close to the railway tracks in Gomtinagar on Thursday. The accused, aged 21 and 25 years, were arrested later.
The survivor, who studies in class VIII, lives with her mother, elder brother, sister-in-law and a nephew in a house in Vineet Khand, Gomtinagar. She had come out of her house for a walk around 7pm, when two men caught and dragged her inside their house and sexually assaulted her multiple times, police said.
“An FIR under POCSO Act has been lodged,” SHO, Gomtinagar, Dheeraj Kumar said.
