Lucknow Metro gets top honour

Lucknow: The fifth Annual Metro Rail Summit, 2016 has awarded Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) the 'Best Metro for Excellence in Innovative Designs'. The summit which was organised in New Delhi was attended by various other Metro Rail companies like Jaipur Metro, Mumbai Metro, L&T Metro Rail, and RVNL along with consultants and manufacturers associated with Metro rail projects across the country.
LMRC MD Kumar Keshav received the trophy. Metro Rail India Summit is India's premier forum to address issues related to the development of Metro Rail in India.
The event features participation of government officials, decision makers, planners, technology experts as well as project leaders to address specific challenges across key aspects like finance, planning, technology, mobility, signalling and control as well as operations, safety and maintenance.
