Lucknow: Lucknow Division defeated Azamgarh 40-36 to win the State-Level Samanvya Junior Boys' Handball Championship at KD Singh 'Babu' Stadium on Wednesday.David scored a match-high 11 goals for Lucknow, while Ankit, Krish, and Pravesh netted 10, 9, and 8 goals, respectively, securing the win for the hosts. For Azamgarh, Sonu Chauhan and Manish contributed 7 and 6 goals, respectively. Earlier in the day, Azamgarh edged past Meerut 26-24, while Lucknow defeated Gorakhpur 30-23 in the semi-final matches.
