LUCKNOW: Seven jewel thieves having the expertise in executing the operation quickly decamped with jewellery worth Rs 15 lakh from a shop in Sarojininagar in the wee hours of Tuesday. The entire action was caught live on

camera, showing the miscreants stealing valuables. Three people entered the shop while four were standing outside on guard.

owns Pratik Jewellers in a complex located in Ganganagar locality.
Mishra
was out of town on Sunday and returned late on Monday night.
On Tuesday morning, around 4am, the owner of the shopping complex
Manoj Singh Chauhan reached the building to make preparations for a bhandara. However, he found the shutter of Mishra’s shop broken, said police.
He immediately informed Mishra who reached the spot. He found around 8kg of silver, 200gm of gold and Rs 18,000 cash missing. He informed police and checked CCTVs, which had captured the entire theft.

said, “After looking at the CCTVs, it seems that the gang was from outside the state and adept in cutting shutters and breaking in shops with ease. The gang took barely 10 minutes to escape with the booty. A team is working and will soon nab the miscreants.”
