Christmas party, some hotels and lounges in the city are ready to make your evening special. The best part is that these are not booked for a private party but open for all, with special arrangements like musical band, Santa Claus,
Christmas decorations, food and bar menu. From live bands to the special menu, there are plenty options to make Christmas memorable.
Have a blast at Cappuccino! Cappuccino Blast has made special arrangements for a live band and a bonfire for a warm Christmas celebrations.
Two young members of the band, Metabrigade, will enthrall the guests with English and Hindi songs. Cappuccino Blast Aarti Ved shared: "Last year when Vasu (singer and guitarist) started playing the songs, most of the guests started shaking their legs. Youngsters danced, sang and some even proposed to each other." We will play soft and subtle music so that people can talk, relax and spend a good evening.
Vasu, the band manager of Metabrigade, said, "I have the youngest guitarist with me who is in class 9 and yet can give a tough competition. Parijat and I will be a treat to watch. What else people want?"
Shubham Khattri, who celebrated last Christmas at Cappuccino Blast, said, "They played what's on your mind, which was fabulous." Aarti will bake carrot cup cakes for her guests. The restaurant even has a special bar menu for the day. In a shop, inside Cappuccino, they have Christmas specials caps, masks and other party accessories. Just wear it on and have a merry Christmas!
Indian and Western arrangements at Taj Taj has a list of events for revellers, just choose the one that suits you and party hard. On December 24, Taj will have a western band where two singers will play mainly English songs along with some Hindi ones. Mrinal Kapoor, food and beverage manager, said, "We prefer Western songs because of the profile of the guests that we have."
With the live band, they have Christmas special menu and selected brand of wines would be served too. You can enjoy these at a cost of Rs 1549, excluding the taxes. Mrinal Kapoor said, "The bookings have to be in advance and guests would be invited on the first come and first serve basis. The payment can be done at the reception and you'll immediately get the receipt."
If you want to pay for only what you eat, then Taj has other options too. The 'Oudhiana' section will have a special lunch and dinner menu. You can choose according to your taste and pay only for it. The Christmas special menu will include 'Awadhi in fusion with Christmas.' Mrinal Kapoor said, "Like turkey being spiced in Awadhi style."
For all the dance loving guests, 'Saki' would have a DJ evening. You can dance and pay only for what you have. Even if you do not wish to eat just dance and make merry.
On December 25, 'Latitude' will have Christmas special buffet for lunch and dinner and unlimited wine of select brands. There would be a pianist too. But both the lunch and dinner arrangements have separate prices and there would be an advance booking for it.
'Saki' would have a DJ Night but only for girls. There is another option in Taj that is 'Charcoal' where you can have sizzlers and pizzas, basically the continental dishes. And only pay for what you eat.
Warm Christmas at Levana Levana has a musical treat in the offing. The hotel would serve brunch in its lounge from 12 noon to 4pm. There would be dinner too while the musical band would be playing throughout. Pranab Chakravorty, food and beverage manager of Levana, said, "We have arranged the band through DJ Moni, who is very popular in Lucknow."
The lounge area would have Christmas special decorations and a Santa Claus would be taking rounds in the entire area, from the hotel to the lounge. They don't have a bonfire but they have other arrangements to make your Christmas warm. Pranab Chakravorty said, "We are the first ones in Lucknow to have a hot blow. So the temperature would be maintained."
'Royal' celebrations Hotel Royal Sagar is organizing a Christmas Carnival where Santa will distribute presents. A magic show will be a special attraction for children. Visitors can also get tattoos inked on their skin. Other attractions would include balloon shooting, nail art, hoopla and delicious food.
Royal Sky will have Christmas special decoration and a Christmas tree too. Restaurant owner's daughter Janisha Ahuja said, "We will have Santa. Celebrate Christmas and grab your present."
