The death toll in the cracker factory blast in Mohanlalganj area rose to nine on Sunday, with three more deaths being reported.

LUCKNOW: The death toll in the cracker factory blast in Mohanlalganj area rose to nine on Sunday, with three more deaths being reported.
Raeesunnisa (45), Khaleel (35) and Sachin (7) died during treatment in a hospital, while rest are in a critical condition, said a police spokesman.
According to doctors of trauma centre, all three died due to increase in infection.

Sachin died at 3am while Raeesunnisa died around 5am. Owner of the cracker factory died at 3pm on Sunday.
Hafiza (68), Momeen Bano (40), Shafiq Ahmed (35), Naghma Bano (15) and mother of five young children Rakesha (32) died shortly after the explosion. Nankai (28) died at KGMU's trauma centre during treatment. The injured were taken to the civil hospital and KGMU's trauma centre.
Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav expressed profound grief over the incident and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of each of those who lost their lives.
