for posting a derogatory remark against a Delhi based research scholar on social media on Thursday. The matter came into light after snapshot of his comment went viral over social media account on Thursday.

Gomtinagar police station
posted a derogatory remark against the scholar who was arrested on charges of organizing anti-CAA protest in February that led to violence.
People disappointed by such comments from a cop, trolled it on social media while tagging and sending direct message to DGP UP police, UP Police and
Lucknow police
, demanding to take action against the cop. Arvind in his social media account is wearing uniform while he posted the comment.
