LUCKNOW: A 23-year-old MBA student allegedly committed suicide in his hostel room on Saturday, police said.
The deceased, identified as Vipin Singh, was a native of Kushinagar district. He had taken admission in a private university in Chinhat two months ago and was residing in a private hostel near the university.
Vipin's friend Jiyalal Manjhi informed U that he had not opened the door since morning. A police team reached the hostel and broke open the door to find Vipin's body hanging from a fan with a noose.
Station house officer, BBD police station, Atul Kumar Singh said Vipin's father Pradeep Singh, a farmer, said that his son was having some personal problems.
