LU defeat Punjabvarsity by 6 wkts

Lucknow: Lucknow University defeated Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana by six wickets in the North Zone Inter-University T 20 Cricket Tournament at the cricket ground of the Kurukshetra University on Thursday.
Batting first, Punjab Agriculture University scored 102 runs in the stipulated overs for the fall of eight wickets. The team got a shock when their opener Punit was out on a paltry score of nine runs.However, another opener Rajan B made 31 runs off 38 balls with the help of five boundaries. Anmol Singh contributed unbeaten 33 runs off 29 balls. For Lucknow University Ranjeet Gautam took three wickets, while Pawan and Aman took two each and Ali got one wicket.
In reply, Lucknow University scored 105 runs for the fall of four wickets in 12.3 overs and won the match. Kritu Raj scored 27 runs off 26 balls, Ali 22, Kabir 15 and Luv made 13 runs. For Punjab Agriculture University Rajan B took two wickets and Rakesh B claimed a wicket.tnn
