LDA official suspended for delay in clearing files

Lucknow: Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) vice chairman Prathamesh Kumar suspended recovery official (ameen) Abhijeet Singh on Tuesday for holding back a crucial land acquisition file for six years. Orders for a thorough investigation into Singh's actions have been issued, with special officer Rajiv Kumar appointed as the inquiry officer.
According to additional secretary Gyanendra Verma, Singh failed to present the file related to the land in Gomtinagar Extension's Maleshemau village, despite a key decision made on June 6, 2018. His negligence disrupted departmental work and tarnished the authority's public image. Singh will remain attached to the Establishment Section during his suspension.
