LUCKNOW: After accusing
Bahujan Samaj Party supremo
Mayawati of taking money for distributing tickets, the party’s MP Jugal Kishore on Thursday said he faced a life threat from the party supremo.
Speaking to TOI on phone from Delhi, Kishore said Mayawati’s close aide Naseemuddin Siddiqui wanted to kill him on the instructions of Mayawati. He said tried to meet Union home minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday to apprise him about the fact.
“But I could not meet him. I have now written a letter to Rajnath seeking Z-plus security,'' he said. Kishore presently enjoys a Y category security.
Kishore said he has been in charge of over 140 assemblies and over 25 parliamentary seats for the party. “I am still in the party. But since I have spoken up against the party boss, she is after me,'' he said.
