Job fair to be organised at LU today

Lucknow: Providing employment opportunities to youth, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission is organising a mega job fair on Saturday at Lucknow University.

Over 35 reputed companies will participate in the job fair and conduct recruitment for youth across various sectors. More than 2,500 employment opportunities will be offered through the fair.

Companies from sectors, including automobile, electronics, tourism and hospitality, manufacturing, information technology and IT-enabled services (ITES), banking-financial services and insurance (BFSI) and the apparel industry, will participate in the employment fair.

Major participating companies will include Barbeque Nation, Paytm Hitachi, Shahi Industries, Swift Truck, GM Modulars, along with several other leading firms.

A key highlight of this job fair is that candidates with qualifications ranging from 8th pass to ITI, polytechnic, graduate, BTech, and MBA levels will be eligible to participate. Generally, the age limit for applicants has been fixed between 18 and 45 years.
