Job drive for ‘divyangjan’ from Feb 6

Lucknow: The UP Skill Development Mission will organise a ‘Divyangjan Employment Campaign 2.0' in all districts from Feb 6 to Feb 13.The objective of this special campaign is to provide employment and self-employment opportunities to differently abled persons.
State minister (independent) for vocational education, skill development and entrepreneurship Kapil Dev Agarwal said that under the campaign differently-abled persons trained through the skill development mission and ITI in the past three years will be connected with employment opportunities.Differently-abled persons registered on the Rojgar Sangam portal will also be included in this campaign. During the campaign, candidates will be linked with opportunities in industrial units, self-employment schemes of MSME, the district industry and export promotion centre and other departments.Directions were issued to provide wide publicity to the campaign at district level, so that maximum candidates can take advantage of this opportunity and connect with employment.District magistrates and their teams from the top five districts that provide maximum employment and self-employment will be given certificates of appreciation. The deadline for data collection is 5 pm on Feb 13.
