Due to jat agitation, many passenger and goods trains have been affected since March 5. This has resulted in acute inconvenience to passengers and serious problems in the movement of goods and cargo carrying trains, especially foodgrains and coal. Some trains were cancelled in order to evacuate the foodgrains from godowns/goods sheds, for better supply of coal to power houses, and for maintenance of trains due to choking of Delhi-Ambala section after diversion of trains (from the agitation affected Delhi-Bhatinda section). Following trains have been cancelled for two days (on March 22 and 23) -- 12005/12006 New Delhi-Kalka-New Delhi Shatabdi, 14095/14096 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Kalka-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Himalayan Queen, 14217/14218 Allahabad-Chandigarh-Allahabad Unchaahar Express, 14525/14526 Ambala-Srigangangar-Ambala Intercity Express and 14731/14732 Delhi Jn-Bhatinda-New Delhi Intercity Express.
