Invest UP selects 33 udyami mitras, training to begin soon

Lucknow: Invest UP has completed the selection process for 20 newly created positions and 13 previously vacant posts of udyami mitras, who are engaged on a contractual basis for one year. An official spokesperson advised applicants to check the Invest UP website to view the list of selected candidates.
"The selection process, which involved a written examination and interviews, was conducted with full transparency and based on merit. This new batch of udyami mitras follows chief minister Yogi Adityanath's earlier initiative in 2023 when 102 udyami mitras were deployed for the first time. Their role is to act as a crucial link between investors and the govt, resolving challenges and ensuring smooth coordination," officials said.
Officials said that with the addition of 33 more udyami mitras, the state's efforts to simplify the investment process and attract more entrepreneurs will gain further momentum, reinforcing UP's growing reputation as an investment-friendly destination.
Additionally, Invest UP will also handle the training process for all these candidates, after which they will be ready for their appointments as udyami mitras.
