LUCKNOW: District judge K K Sharma on Thursday granted interim bail to Niharika Singh, who was booked for ramming her car into the fleet of Chief Justice DY Chandrachood.
The police had booked her on charges as serious as attempting to murder the chief justice in the road rage incident, which took place on December 3.
Judge Sharma fixed December 10 for hearing regular bail plea of the accused.

Appearing on behalf of Niharika, senior advocate Raghvendra Singh argued that the incident took place all of a sudden and she had no intention nor could have any at all to make any assault upon the chief justice.
