Lucknow: All information on colleges under Dr
APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University
will be available on a portal called 'Know Your College' from June 23.
The portal has been developed to provide centralised information about the 615 management and engineering colleges under
AKTU
at one place. "The web portal will be launched by the university before UPSEE counselling scheduled on June 24. We have received data from more than 350 colleges affiliated to the university," said controller of examination, JP

.
The portal will have information on fees, seats, infrastructure, faculty and placement of all colleges. A link to the web portal will be available on the official website of the university.
"Candidates will not have to visit sites of different colleges individually for information," Pandey added.
"A number of complaints have been received from students about the undue fees charged by private colleges. Every college has to specify fees and other overhead charges on the web portal so that they cannot raise the fees in between the session," he added.
