The woman had reportedly left the house saying that she was going to the grocer's shop, but did not return. As she had left behind her mobile, no contact could be made with her.
On receiving information, Dinesh Nag along with his wife rushed to the city to search for his daughter and the grandson. But when even after a frantic search, the family failed to find the duo they lodged a missing complaint with the Aliganj police.
Sonalika reportedly had an argument with her husband on Friday morning before she left the house. She was also said to have called her mother telling her that she would commit suicide.
