Homeopathy remedy for ovarian cysts

LUCKNOW: For women suffering with ovarian cyst, homeopathic treatment may offer relief. Preliminary results obtained from an observational study on 'the effect of homeopathic medicines in case of ovarian cysts' has shown that the homeopathic therapy can play a positive role in the management of the disease. The study was undertaken by the Council for Research in Homeopathy, India.The study, which has made it to the Indian Journal of Homeopathy, was conducted by city-based homeopathic practitioner Dr Girish Gupta in association with Nilima Singh, Richa Singh, Santosh Singh, Chaturbhuj Nayak and Anil Khurana.
Addressing reporters in this regard on Thursday, Dr Gupta said, "the study provided role of homeopathic medicines in correcting the abnormal hormone levels apart from relieving menstrual and related complaints. After comparing pre and post treatment ultra sonography reports, it was seen that the cyst was totally resolved in 16.6% patients while the size of cyst reduced in 20.8% patients. "
