<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">lucknow: the lucknow bench of allahabad high court on thursday has summoned sdm milkipur of faizabad district, indra mani tripathi, on february 26 next for allegedly detaining ram prakash yadav on apprehension of breach of peace during the assembly elections. the notice has been served to the said sdm through district magistrate, faizabad for his personal appearance on february 26.
this order were passed by the division bench, comprising justice virendra saran and justice rd shukla on the writ petition filed on behalf of ram prasad yadav by his advocate mm srivastava, alleging that the sdm had misused the authority of demanding bonds and illegal detained the petitioner. <span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">convicted: </span>special judge fast track court, sy ram, while convicting nine accused persons ambrish verma, rajesh verma, sarvesh verma, rakesh, kalloo alias kapil, awadhesh kumar, manoj kumar, baijnath verma and guddu alias kamal kishore for killing ramawati, village pradhan of meer nagar under nigohan police circle, sentenced them to life imprisonment with a fine of rs 2000 each. the accused persons had murdered ramawati on january 16, 1996 as she had prevented ambrish verma and others to grab the lands of gram samaj. in another matter, additional session judge op srivastava has also convicted and sentenced accused nazmi for killing one istiyaq under chowk police circle, to life imprisonment. the judge, however, acquitted four other accused nasim, akhlaq, yusuf and hasib for want of evidence. according to the prosecution on august 21, 1992 at 12 noon, accused nazmi had fired upon istiyaq near hotel of baboo, who later succumbed to his injuries. <span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">publisher summoned: </span>the additional chief judicial magistrate, bk misra has summoned the printer-publisher-editor of <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">hans </span>magazine, rajendra yadava and archana verma for using unwarranted word against lord hanuman. the summon has been issued on a criminal complaint filed by narendra singh rana, alleging that the accused persons on january 5 last had published an article on the editorial page of their magazine in which lord hanuman and shivaji had been referred to as first terrorist of lanka and gurriella terrorist, respectively. it was said that the article had hurt the sentiments of hindus. the court has asked the two accused to appear on april 2 next. </div> </div>
