NEW DELHI: The counting of votes is done for Hardoi Lok Sabha constituency results. BJP's Jai Prakash won by a margin of 27,856 against SP's Usha Verma.

The elections for this constituency took place during the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 on May 13. The voter turnout was recorded 57.52 per cent. Looking back at the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Jai Prakash from the BJP clinched victory in Hardoi, garnering 5,68,143 votes. Meanwhile, Usha Verma of the SP, while putting up a strong fight, trailed behind by 1,32,474 votes, highlighting the ever-evolving electoral landscape of Hardoi. The Hardoi (SC) seat saw a voter turnout of 58.4 per cent in 2019 elections.

During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Hardoi BJP’s Anshul Kumar vanquished the opposition bagging 3,60,473 votes. BSP’s Shiv Prasad Sharma was defeated by a significant margin of 81,315 votes, who received 2,79,158 votes. This was followed by SP’s Usha Verma and Congress' Sarvesh Kumar.
