Govt warns pvt agencies generating electricity bills

Private agencies engaged in generating electricity bills have come under sharp focus of the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) after the performance of agencies were not found up to the mark by the corporation causing revenue loss to the utility.
Chairman-cum-managing director, UPPCL, Navneet Sehgal on Thursday warned the officials of agencies of taking necessary legal action against the agency, if their performance does not improve by August.He said that the performance has dipped sharply and in no way that can be excused.
