Girls sweep 80% Lucknow University's medals

LUCKNOW: Girls once again ruled the roost in Lucknow University's medal tally. Close to 80% of the medals to be awarded on the convocation ceremony scheduled on January 9 are in girl's kitty. A total of 159 medals will be awarded in the convocation. Of this, 57 are girls and 20 are boys. The entire medal list is uploaded on university's website, www.lko.univ.ac.in Securing 86.3% in M Sc Mathematics, Nupur Agarwal has won the maximum of 11 medals.MA Ancient History topper Pragya Baudh will be awarded 10 medals while M Sc Physics topper Pragya Bajpai will be conferred with seven medals. MA political science student Ginni Braj will be awarded six medals while five medals will be given to law topper Ashish Pandey. Medal recipients can raise objections, if any, latest by December 23.
