Lucknow: Adani Group chairman
Gautam Adani said on Friday that the Ganga Expressway, recently inaugurated by PM
Narendra Modi, is not just a road project connecting 12 districts and over 500 villages, but a powerful medium that unites people—much like the sacred flow of the Ganga river—bringing transformative change to the lives of more than 80 million people.
He noted that travel time between Meerut and Prayagraj will reduce from 10–11 hours to about 5–6 hours. The expressway is being built with such strength that, if required, fighter jets can also land on it—symbolizing the strength and confidence of a New India. The Adani Group has constructed 80% of the 594-km expressway.
