G20 BBD cricket: REPL Crusaders beat Dhruv Academy by 24 runs

Lucknow: REPL Crusaders defeated Dhruv Cricket Academy by 24 runs in the G20 BBD Senior Division Cricket League played at Chowk stadium here on Monday.
Dhruv Academy won the toss and opted for bowling. Batting first, REPL scored 216 runs in the stipulated 40 overs for the fall of nine wickets. Playing an excellent innings, RPEL opener Shashwat Pandey scored 32 runs. Shubham Chaubey (62), Ravi Singh (50) and Himanshu Singh (17) made valuable contribution to the team’s total. For Dhruv Academy, Sujal Tewari and Nikhil Gupta took three wickets each while Adarsh Singh got one wicket.
In reply, Dhruv Academy could score 192 runs in 40 overs at the loss of nine wickets. Nikhil Gupta made 67 runs and Aviral Kannaujia scored 40. Vivek Chauhan and Mohd Danish made 22 and 14 runs, respectively, for their team.
Kshitij Mishra and Dhananjay Yadav of REPL claimed three wickets each, Abhay Dwivedi took two wickets and Shashwat Pandey one.
