The allegation stems from the fact that the names of the accused as mentioned in the FIR was nowhere even close to those of the four minors who were arrested. Not only the names of the four accused but that of their fathers' too did not tally with the genuine ones. This was one important factor that helped the four to secure their release on bail on Wednesday.
The names as mentioned in the FIR (a copy of which is available with the TOI) are: Ankit Yadav son of Balbir Singh Yadav; Ramesh Yadav son of Raghuveer Singh Yadav; Akash Kumar, son of Ram Kumar Paswan and Vinay Singh, son of Shiv Kumar Singh. The actual names of the four minors nowhere tally with these names.
