Four injured as bus rams into tractor-trolley in BKT

Lucknow: Four passengers travelling in a bus had a providential escape after it rammed into a tractor-trolley full of bricks in Bakshi Ka Talab area on Wednesday. The tractor-trolley driver and four passengers sitting in the bus sustained serious injuries in the accident.Police reached the spot after receiving information and took the injured to the hospital.ADCP North Abhijit R Shankar said that the driver of the UPSRTC bus going to Lakhimpur lost control of the steering near Rampur Behra village of BKT. The bus went out of control and rammed into the tractor-trolley moving ahead, said the police. Locals carried out the rescue and then informed the police.The driver, Rajendra Gupta, resident of BKT, and Jai Sharma, Sushil, Bhavana and Bhargav, residents of Lakhimpur Kheri, who were traveling in the bus, were injured.
