FLO felicitates 7 women from various fields

Lucknow: FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO), the women wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), felicitated seven women from varied background for their contribution to the society at a function held at Safed Baradari on Wednesday. .It was the 10th edition of the award. This year the focus has been to honour women in the urban sector encompassing a diverse range of verticals.The content creator of the year award was given to Harshita Gupta, startup excellence award to Aishwarya Bhatnagar, entrepreneur of the year to Tanushree Gupta, outstanding contribution to society to director of Drishti Samajik Sansthan Shalu Singh, innovation, architecture and design award to Vipul Varshney, education leadership to Sunita Gandhi, excellence in sports award to Anushka Chauhan and medical excellence to Soniya Nityanad. The jury comprised principal architecture college Prof Vandana Sehgal, heritage evangelist and a skill-development thought-leader Jayant Krishna and businesswoman Smita Aggarwal. National President FICCI FLO Joyshree Das Verma felicitated the awardees. FICCI FLO chairperson Vibha Aggarwal and national Vice President Puja Garg were also present.The National Saree Day was also celebrated on the theme "Celebrating Sarees: six yards of sustainable heritage." Women decked up in different shades of sarees and wearing shining jewellery walked on the ramp.A participant of the ramp walk Ratika Arora said, "I was very excited to be a part of the event." Another participant Nidhi Prakash said, "It was a fun-filled segment."
