LUCKNOW: Officials of a company dealing in crypto currency were accused of duping two persons of Rs 16 lakh in the name of investment in a real estate project, on Sunday.Those named in t he case were identified as Mumbai native Mahadev Pandurang Jadhav, proprietor/ MD of Rehan enterprises Lucknow, Subhash Jaiswal, UP head of the company, Priyanka Singh, branch head of the company, Harishanker Srivastava and Abhishek Singh.

The accused trapped Ashok Kumar Singh of Vinit Khand and Jyotsna Sahu of Viraj Khand, Gomtinagar, promising attractive refund against the investment. Singh said he invested Rs 10 lakh in the company and was given cheques which were dishonoured by the banks for lack of sufficient balance in the account of the company.

Police said two separate FIRs were registered.
