FIR against Raja Bhaiya's father

LUCKNOW: Uday Pratap Singh, father of Kunda MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh, has been booked for allegedly trying to grab a shop and a house owned by a trader at Babuganj in Kunda on Sunday.Circle Officer, Kunda, Iqbal Singh confirmed that the FIR hasbeen lodged against Raja Bhaiya’s father and said Udai Pratap Singh andhis men tried to forcibly grab trader one Manoj Kesarwani’s house and shopsituated in Babuganj. He said raids were conducted to nab Singh, however, invain and added manhunt is on for him. The case was lodged on a complaint filedby Kesarwani, who alleged that Udai Raj Singh along with his aides came to hishouse and beat him up and tried to grab his house and shop. The complainantstated that they also threatened him with dire consequences.It wasduring the earlier Mayawati regime in 2000 that Pota was slapped on Udai PratapSingh for allegedly conspiring to kill her and possessing AK-56.
