Felicitationsmark AKTU’s Foundation Day

Lucknow: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University celebrated its 25th foundation day on Saturday with felicitations, social work and a gathering of poets that touched on every issue of society and everyday life through their writings.The varsity awarded winners of the Silver Jubilee logo competition. The workers of five anganwadi centres adopted by the university were given certificates and kits were distributed to 25 children of Paramarth, run by the students in the adopted schools and IET.Certificates were also given to the winners and participants of the Intra University sports tournament.VC Prof JP Pandey said: "Behind the growth of this university is the tireless effort of its teachers, officers and staff. In this 25-year journey, this is the first time that the university got an A grade from the NAAC."MLA BKT Vidhan Sabha Yogesh Shukla said: "This university is not only empowering the students academically but is also contributing to social concerns."TNN
