FCRF & UPSIFS sign MoU to build safer digital future

Lucknow: The Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF) and the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science (UPSIFS) on Friday signed an MoU to foster collaboration in the fields of cybersecurity, digital forensics, and emerging technologies. The MoU marks a significant step towards building a safer digital future, enhancing forensic research capabilities, and creating educational opportunities for students and professionals in the region.FCRF, incubated by IIT Kanpur's AIIDE-CoE, is a non-profit organisation specialising in cybersecurity, digital crime, cyber law, and cyber forensics research. The MoU was signed by Rajeev Malhotra, Additional Director of UPSIFS, and Triveni Singh, Chief Mentor of FCRF, in the presence of GK Goswamy, Additional Director General of UP Police and Director of UPSIFS, at the UPSIFS headquarters in Lucknow. As per the agreement, FCRF and UPSIFS will collaborate to develop joint research and training programmes in cybersecurity, digital forensics, fraud risk management, and other emerging technologies, said Singh. "This partnership will strengthen cybersecurity infrastructure," he added.
