While around 30,000 RSS volunteers who would come to Ayodhya for darshan have been enlisted, additionally around 70,000 people inclined towards the Sangh are also expected to reach Ayodhya for darshan daily. In total around one lakh volunteers of the Sangh Parivar are expected to reach Ayodhya for darshan from Jan 26 onwards, a senior RSS pracharak told TOI .

The Bharatiya Janata Party is chalking out a detailed plan to facilitate people from across the country on a daily basis beginning January 25. The BJP's darshan campaign will run for two months and come to an end on March 25, BJP's Ayodhya in-charge Mithilesh Tiwari said.

The BJP insiders also told TOI that the target of bringing a maximum of 10,000 people from each Lok Sabha has been planned. The responsibility to send these devotees would rest with MPs of the said constituencies, MLAs and the BJP workers.

Even though the target of facilitating 10,000 devotees has been fixed, the number of devotees on an average is expected to be around 5000 to 7000, a BJP leader said and added that the devotees to and fro visit would be planned by the BJP workers. The devotees coming from a manageable distance would come by bus while those coming from far-off places would arrive in Ayodhya by special trains named Astha specials. The Railways is yet to come out with the scheduled timetable for the running of Astha special trains, BJP sources said. Since there are 545 Lok Sabha seats, total number of devotees being facilitated in two months would be around 50 lakh.
