, held on the campus on Sunday.She said that after independence we focused on achieving education for all but the goal of imparting quality education to all needs to be attained. “The difference between the quality of education imparted in private and government schools needs to be bridged,” she said while adding that government schools must also improve their education quality.Governor also highlighted the fact that a large part of India’s population is of malnourished people, who need special attention. Society should get the benefit of research done in schools and colleges.She also appealed to everyone to participate in making the country a TB-free country. “Through it, you can change the world. The job of a teacher is of more responsibility than that of a doctor and an engineer as it affects the whole country hence teachers should discharge their duties with utmost responsibility,” she said.Retired teachers of the college and meritorious students were felicitated and the annual report and magazine of the college was released and presented by college principal
