DRM office firing: 1 arrested, 5L recovered from car

Lucknow: Police on Saturday arrested an accused and recovered Rs 5 lakh from a car in connection with the shootout on the premises of Northern Railway building on Friday in which history sheeter Ashish Pandey was killed. Pandey's friend Krishna Kumar lodged FIR naming Pappu Singh, Shyamlal, Ajeet Singh alias Babblu, Dinesh Singh, Arvind Singh, J P Singh and Pappu Singh-II.
"Dinesh has been arrested while a hunt is on to nab other miscreants. We also found an SUV abandoned in the parking lot of the NR budiling. Rs 5 lakh cash in a black bag were recovered from the vehicle," said Hazratganj SHO Vijay Mal. tnn
