Dr Arya shooters' version casts its doubts in CMO BP Singh murder case

LUCKNOW: Voices raising questions on the claims of shooters in CMO, family welfare Dr BP Singh murder case have become stronger, after the version of the shooters arrested in CMO, Dr Vinod Kumar Arya murder case have virtually turned out to be concocted.
When shooters in Dr Arya murder case can fabricate a story naming mafia don Abhay Singh as the main accused along with his aides jailed brothers Anshu and Sumit Dixit for their involvement in Dr Arya murder case, how can the investigators be so sure of the claims of shooters arrested in Dr BP Singh murder case?
According to the investigators, in Dr BP Singh murder case, they have other evidences like call details of the alleged mastermind with these shooters as corroborative evidence, which was not the case in Dr Arya murder case.
However, those who still doubt the police theory regarding the Dr Singh murder case question that how come the cops are so sure that the shooters are speaking the truth. The possibility of Dr Singh's murder accused shooters not coming out with complete truth gains more weight, as shooters said to be involved in the murder of both the CMOs were linked to each other. Shooters in both the murder cases knew each other well, is the latest theory being floated by the police.
This makes it all the more obvious for the shooters in both the murder cases to take the names of people behind the murders as per their convenience or may be on directives from some outside quarters.
Since it is almost sure that Abhay and Dixit brothers were in all likelihood falsely implicated in the Dr Arya murder case by the two shooters -- Vijay Dubey and Ajay Misra -- arrested on December 12 last, it is also almost certain that the two shooters don't match the might of mafia don Abhay Singh and could not dare to take his name without the patronage from another muscleman who can dare to take on Singh.
Though the list of enemies of any mafia generally remains long, one enmity of mafia don Abhay Singh stands above all. Singh and another mafia-turned-politician once were known to be great friends during Lucknow University days. However, they fell apart after a murder of another student leader and the gap between them kept on widening thereafter. So much so that there was a time when both were vying for each other's blood.
Interestingly, Abhay owes allegiance to Samajwadi Party these days; his known enemy coincidentally owes allegiance to Bahujan Samaj Party. An investigator said that there was every possibility that Abhay was being implicated at this BSP leader's behest.
