LUCKNOW: The district administration has decided to set up
selfie points
outside polling centres in the state capital when polling for nine assembly constituencies in the district will be held on Wednesday.
The decision has been taken in view of the confusion witnessed in the first three phases of elections in the state so far. At many places, voters were not allowed by police to take mobile phones inside the polling centres due to security reasons, thus denying them the opportunity to click selfies.
A polling station has several booths in rooms where people cast votes.
