Detention of Vikas Yadav quashed

LUCKNOW: The high court here, while quashing the detention of Vikas Yadav and Vishal Yadav under the National Security Act (NSA), directed to release them forthwith unless wanted in any other case.
The bench, comprising Justice Vishnu Sahai and Justice RC Pandey, has allowed writ petitions filed by senior advocate Virendra Bhatia on behalf of both the detenues, challenging the detention order passed by the DM of Ghaziabad on May 5 under section 3(2) of the NSA.Vikas Yadav and Vishal Yadav are son and nephew of senior politician D P Yadav, respectively.
